Li Can, an alumnus of the Department of Chemistry, Shaanxi Normal University, Class of 1983. He is a Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), a Member of the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), and holds a Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) degree jointly awarded by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. He currently serves as a Researcher at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Li has successively pursued postdoctoral research and held short-term visiting professor positions at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), Northwestern University (USA), University of Liverpool (UK), The University of Tokyo (Japan), and Lehigh University (USA). His academic achievements have been recognized with honors including the Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress and the CAS Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievement Award.
